About

SherpAI is an EXIST start-up project emerging from the environment of the University of Potsdam. Its goal is to build a learning software layer for enterprise systems that continuously improves data quality and integrates as an add-on into ERP, CRM and comparable systems.

At its core, SherpAI combines Data Analysis, Data Cleaning and Data Enrichment in a modular, orchestrable architecture. The technical foundation consists of specialised AI modules, customer-specific fine-tuning, entity matching and deterministic system logic for reproducible corrections.

The current status is pre-seed: a working prototype has already been demonstrated with real enterprise data, but it is not yet transferable to arbitrary data domains without manual adaptation. Closing exactly this transfer gap is the goal of the EXIST funding phase.

The full-time core team consists of Atakan Argat (business model and market development), Roman Klinghammer (system architecture and integration) and Mahsa Saifi (product, platform and white-label integration). The initiative is complemented by Tim Müller, Lasse Schilling and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marcus Grum in research, integration and mentoring roles.

The current project status includes three Letters of Intent, a planned integration with Gebauer GmbH / TimeLineERP and a white-label-oriented partner sales model for ERP vendors.
